Minutes from the February meeting were read and approved.
TREASURERS REPORT:
Treasurers Report for February was read and approved.
SAFETY REPORT:
No report, just a reminder for everyone to stay safe.
FIELD MAINTENANCE REPORT:
A clean up date for the field needs to be scheduled. Anyone who can help, please contact Ed for details.
The owner of the pond is still working to get all of his supplies and equipment away from the site so we can safely use it.
TRAINING:
No current students
OLD BUSINESS:
CRCS Breakfast is scheduled for Saturday, April 24 at 9 AM.
The Club Picnic will be decided later.
NEW BUSINESS:
Club dues for 2021 are to be paid between March and May each year. The dues are $80.00 for the year. We do not send out billing notices.
UPCOMING EVENTS:
Bair-ly Pulling Tractor Pull – 03/13/2021
Gooney Birds will host their Fly-in at Florence, SC on June 12. Pilot’s fee of $20.00 includes lunch.
Lake City, SC will host their “Event of the Year” in September. Their “Warbird” event will be in August. More information next month.
SHOW AND TELL:
John Stein showed off his E-Stick and Ed Yeash presented his Spitfire Park Flyer.
CRASH OF THE MONTH:
We thought Ed was going to win this because he crashed three times including causing John Silver’s aircraft by accidentally hitting a switch on his transmitter while attached to John as a “buddy box”.
But, Werner Roos took the award for crashing his 43 year old foam aircraft through the trees. It was a total loss.
There were a few other entries, but none as spectacular as these two.
