Morgan) Brooks; Secretary, Elaine Jackson; Safety Officer, Dave Brown; Field Officer, Gerry Higdon or Mike McGee; Members at Large, Bill Evans, Roy Leopold but we need one more. SHOW AND TELL:

Capt. Morgan decided that since we no longer have a pond for float fly, he would put wheels on his Beaver. He cut into the bottom of the pontoons, added reinforcement material and mounted wheels on the bottom so he could fly it at the field.  He also brought in some toy cars that he had purchased. The remote control cars are “wall climber” and will operate on any smooth surface, wall, glass, ceiling, and floors using a vacuum system to hold it in place.

CRASH OF THE MONTH:

We had four nominations for Crash of the Month:

Bill Evans made a gear up landing with his P-51 because his retract gear stuck;

Robert Brooks lost a nose wheel on his Snoopy plane during takeoff;

Charles Tenio put one in the trees;

**Josh Smetanko crashed his 550 Heli.  Snapped the tail roader and hit between the cars. Blade came around and hit a trailer.

And the winner was: Josh Smetanko
